Jennifer Puckett, LPMT, MT-BC

Jennifer completed her music therapy degree at the University of Georgia. She remained in the Atlanta area for her music therapy internship with the Fulton County School System, working with children with special needs. Jennifer resides in Cherokee County with her husband Brian, and their three children Carlynn, Brinlee, and Walker. Her credentials include: Member of the Music Therapy Association of Georgia, American Music Therapy Association, National board certification in Music Therapy, Georgia Music Therapy License, Music Therapy Internship Director 2011-Present, Neurological Music Therapy Certified, Early Intervention Specialist, Therapeutic Listening Program Certified, Infant Massage Trained, Kindermusik Educator, Reimbursement Chair of the SER-AMTA (Southeastern Region-American Music Therapy Association), Serves on the AMTA-MTBO-(American Music Therapy Association Music Therapy Business Owners Task Force), Appointed to the Music Therapy Licensure Advisory Committee by the Georgia Secretary of State 2014-present, Active Member of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Class of 2017-2018, Enjoy! Alison Williams, LPMT, MT-BC, Music Therapist

Music Therapy Team Lead, Internship Supervisor

Alison Williams hails from the Mississippi Delta where she received her Bachelor of Music Education degree from Mississippi Valley State University in Itta Bena, MS. She also received her Masters of Music Education with concentration in Music Therapy from the University of Georgia in December of 2010. Alison first came to us as an intern and has been an official member of our staff as a music therapist for seven years. She is a licensed music educator who loves working with children. Alison is a gifted singer who believes that her mission in life is to share the gift of music with others.

Chelsea Kinsler, LPMT, MT-BC, Music Therapist

Chelsea Kinsler completed her Music Therapy degree at The University of Georgia. She then completed her Music Therapy internship with the Fulton County School System, working with special needs children aging from preschool to high school during the 2011-2012 school year.  She is a nationally board certified Music Therapist as well as a state licensed Music Therapist.  She loves coming to work everyday and working with amazing families! She resides in Marietta with her awesome husband Chris and their two children, Rhett & Raelynn.

amanda brennen , LPMT, MT-BC

Amanda was born and raised in Roswell, Georgia. She graduated from Georgia College with her Bachelors in Music Therapy. She completed her internship at Therabeat in December 2020! Her primary instruments are voice and piano, but she also loves playing the guitar, ukulele, and learning fun new instruments like the keytar. When off the clock, Amanda loves to spend time with her family and friends. She also loves listening to live music! She is so thankful to be part of such an amazing team! Amanda’s credentials include: National Board Certification in Music Therapy & Georgia Music Therapy License.

macie skinner, LPMT, MT-BC

Macie received her Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Florida State University after completing her 6-month internship with Therabeat in June of 2021! At FSU, she also received her Music in Special Education certification with an emphasis in hearing impairments and American Sign Language! Her primary instrument is voice, and she has pursued extensive study in guitar and piano as well. When she’s not at the clinic, Macie enjoys teaching dance, getting coffee with friends, and playing with her dog, Bailey! Macie has lived in Alpharetta, Georgia her whole life and is so thankful to get to continue to be a part of team Therabeat! Macie’s credentials include: National Board Certification in Music Therapy & Georgia Music Therapy License.

mia hong, LPMT, MT-BC

Mia received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Therapy from the University of Georgia with a focus in bassoon. She completed her internship at Therabeat in December, 2018! Mia then worked for Therabeat, took some time off, and she is SO happy to be back! She is currently a graduate student at McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University working towards her Masters in Theological Studies. Mia resides in Woodstock with her husband, Will, and her dog, Millie. Mia’s credentials include: National Board Certification in Music Therapy & Georgia Music Therapy License.

hanlee mccart, LPMT, MT-BC

Hanlee received her Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Georgia College & State University after completing her 6-month internship with Therabeat in December of 2021! Her primary instrument is cello, and is very skilled in piano as well. She also enjoys singing, guitar, ukulele, and several other musical instruments! She is very passionate about connecting with all people with diverse needs and backgrounds. Hanlee lives in Atlanta with dear friends. When she’s not leading music therapy sessions, she loves to be outdoors in the sun, attempting new artsy crafts, dancing, hanging with friends, and spending lots of family time. Hanlee’s credentials include: National Board Certification in Music Therapy & Georgia Music Therapy License.

jenna livsey, MM, MT-BC

Jenna received her Bachelor’s in music therapy from the University of Georgia and her Master’s in music therapy from Colorado State University. She loves working with all ages and populations and enjoys incorporating many different musical styles and therapy techniques in her practice. Jenna loves to sing and has sung in various choirs around Atlanta. Outside of music, her favorite thing in the world is her dog, Shadow. Jenna is currently pursuing her Physician’s Assistant degree to further help people and be a strong advocate for music therapy.
